I was just in an elevator with Hardy Rawls, the dad from Pete and Pete, and I didn’t realize it until it was too late. Although he did say, “take it easy buddy.” So that’s awesome.

Agreed. I really liked this song when it came out. It was kind of bad timing. If this would have come out during the “garage band” revival craze, it would have done better. This album has a handful a good songs. Definitely not a great album. But this was the best song on it. I play it now and again at the theatre to see if anyone recognizes it.
Verbena “Baby Got Shot” from their 1999 album Into The Pink which was produced by Dave Grohl. not as good a record as Souls For Sale but pretty good all the same.
